Managing Director
GRAHAM founded Greymoor in 2016 with an ambition to create a number of sustainable new neighbourhoods across the UK, with 150-200 high-quality new homes by 2021. His impressive property development knowledge has been established over a long, varied career leading projects from site appraisals, through to land buying, planning, building and sales.
Beginning his career with 14 years at Costain and Wates, Graham then spent eight years at the Gladedale Group, where he was promoted to commercial director for the Southern Regions. In 2012, he moved to Vantage Corporation as group commercial director and was instrumental to an increase in turnover from £2m per annum to £55m over a three year period.
Graham's commercial understanding, management skills and extensive network have provided Greymoor with strong foundations, securing substantial investment and intelligence from a number of seasoned property funders and collaborators.
Finance Director
JAMES brings significant financial experience to Greymoor, having worked with subcontractors, lead contractors and property developers across the construction industry.
James is a founding member of the team and has been instrumental to building our business from the start.
James is a chartered accountant with a background in property and construction, he has particular expertise in cashflow management and financial reporting, as well as development appraisal, feasibility assessments and land valuations.
With over 15 years' track record in finance, James has a considerable professional and investor network. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
Operations Director
COLIN brings over 40 years construction, development and project management experience to Greymoor and is responsible for ensuring first-class Health & Safety across our new neighbourhoods.
Beginning his career as a site engineer with MJ Gleeson, Colin was swiftly promoted to senior project and construction management roles, responsible for leading main contracting and residential developers.
In 2007 Colin was appointed construction director for the residential developer Country & Metropolitan, where he led large infrastructure and civil projects, fast track retail, high rise development, listed and house building sectors, as well as healthcare and pharmaceutical works.
NEBOSH qualified, Colin is highly experienced in both traditional and modern methods of construction, from pre-construction organisation and planning, to leading teams to ensure the highest standards of finish and satisfaction.
PA & Office Manager
SARAH is an experienced assistant and office coordinator, responsible for managing Greymoor's Managing Director, whilst also driving sales and marketing across our developments and being a core part of the leadership team.
Beginning her career as a receptionist and travel coordinator for an IT software company, Sarah spent seven years honing her meticulous attention to detail and friendly manner. She later became a director’s secretary and was promoted to personal assistant for the operations director of the construction company Berkeley First.
Most recently Sarah spent three years as personal assistant to the Founder & CEO of the hedge fund business Quality Capital Management, before she reunited with her former mentor Graham to help him build the Greymoor business.
Finance Manager
JAMIE is a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who has recently chosen to begin his property career with us at Greymoor.
Having completed work experience at Barclays Bank where he was able to observe procedures and develop an understanding for customers servicing and experience, Jamie followed a personal passion to become a qualified KBT Academy of Martial Arts Instructor and was responsible for all customer relations.
Jamie is a real team player with a drive to learn and bring his client care knowledge to our business.
SENIOR Planning Manager
ELIZABETH is a seasoned property and construction specialist at Greymoor with more than 20 years' experience. Her long-standing property management capabilities enable the efficient coordination of our consultants to secure planning across our new neighbourhoods.
Elizabeth began her property career as a sales and lettings manager, before moving into development management for a leading Housing Association. She was responsible for securing planning and managing the delivery of both affordable rental and private shared ownership homes.
Having most recently worked as a consultant manager in pre-development and planning roles within the Housebuilding sector, Elizabeth applies her knowledge of planning authority policies to the design development of our neighbourhoods.
SENIOR LAND MANAGER
JAMES joins us with over 8 years experience in land and development. During his career within the sector, he has worked on both the agency and developer side.
James has spent the past 3 years with Stonegate Homes, and was responsible for sourcing and acquiring development opportunities across the South East. Previously James spent 3 years with Spicerhaart as Regional Land Manager, responsible for advising clients and disposing of sites with the aim of achieving best value for the client.
Before his career in the land and development, James served 6 years as a Royal Marine Commando taking part in operations in Afghanistan, then moved in to the private security sector for a further 3 years.
SENIOR TECHNICAL MANAGER
MERVYN is an experienced Technical Manager joining Greymoor from the Hill Group. He initially started his career as an Architectural Technical working for a small Architectural Practice, then moving to a large London based practice.
He has since worked for both National and Regional Developers including Laing Homes, Antler Homes and Hill Partnerships, and has now acquired over twenty-five years’ experience in the Housebuilding Industry managing the technical process for a range of clients from Private Sale Properties to Housing Associations and Local Authorities.
Mervyn brings his depth of knowledge to Greymoor, making the transition from obtaining Planning permission to Tender, Construction, then Sales as smooth as possible
TECHNICAL MANAGER
With over 23 years' experience within the construction industry, Nick joins Greymoor as Technical Coordinator having worked with both private and national housebuilders for over 8 years.
Nick started his career as a qualified carpenter and joiner after leaving school working on behalf for a number of leading house builders for six years. Nick later progressed as architectural technician for ten years gaining an HNC qualification in building studies working on a number of housing, education, care and commercial schemes valuing from 5-20 million pounds in value.
Having worked as a architectural technician, Nick used his vast experience and progressed as a technical coordinator and has over eight years' experience working for private and national housebuilders, delivering small to large multi-phase developments ranging from low rise housing to apartment blocks.
As Technical Coordinator, Nick's role is to ensure that the head of department and assistant coordinator are fully supported, and to ensure design teams fully deliver coordinated working drawing packages compliant with today's legislation to satisfy both Planning and Building Regulations.
Commercial Director
MARK brings significant experience to the commercial team at Greymoor, having worked with both private and national housebuilders for over 10 years, overseeing projects worth up to £50m.
Mark began his career at Linden Homes, gaining a First Class degree in Quantity Surveying whilst managing several sites, with properties ranging from one bed apartments to large £1.5m houses. He most recently spent four years with Countryside Properties, where he was instrumental in improving financial forecasting, contract administration and cash flow management.
As Commercial Manager, Mark’s expertise ensures that projects run smoothly from inception through to completion. His experience working with private clients and housing associations has provided him with a well-rounded view of the housebuilding industry, and he understands the importance of delivering projects that satisfy the demands of all stakeholders.
Project Surveyor
SAM is a skilled surveyor, who joins us from a leading national housebuilder where he oversaw some of the region’s most successful, award winning developments.
Sam’s construction career began as a Commercial Administrator for a Civil Engineering firm and it was through this experience that he chose to pursue a career in surveying. Since then, his ambition and thirst to excel has allowed him to develop a broad construction knowledge as he has progressed to Project Surveyor.
Working closely with all departments, Sam ensures that our developments are run well from an early stage of the project, delivering value for money for both Greymoor and our clients.
Chief Buyer
In 2014 Keith took his first step through the door in construction as a purchasing assitant for a local successful builder's merchant.
Keith quickly discovered his passion for the industry and was later given the opportunity to begin his development as a site-based buyer, helping create a range of high-end bespoke homes in the southeast of England.
Keith has spent the last 5 years of his career working for the UK's largest national housebuilder, gaining invaluable depth in experience and knowledge while managing the material procurement and forecast for a variety of traditional and timber frame mixed-use development.
TRAINEE QUANTITY SURVEYOR
LEWIS completed a degree in Project and Operations Management and decided to pursue a career in the construction Industry. He spent a year labouring, which exposed him to the practical aspect of house building and developed a good base understanding of domestic construction projects.
He joined the commercial department in November of last year and has since worked on both the buying and surveying aspect of the business. Lewis’ willingness to take on responsibility has provided the team with assistance across multiple projects and his desire to learn has enhanced his knowledge of the industry, whilst also developing his skillset.
Construction Director
RICHARD joins the team with 25 year's experience within the construction industry. From his groundwork background he has worked his way through site management and into project management. His most recent was the Rochester Riverside flagship development for Countryside. Previously he's worked for Wates for 10 year's where he gained valuable experience of private and social residential housing schemes.
Richard brings a hunger for quality and delivering high standards to each and every new home while maintaining leading safety standards.
Assistant Site Manager
JAKE started in the construction industry at 16yrs old where he attended college and completed his NVQ level 3 in bricklaying, and NVQ level 2 in plumbing. Jake then made the move to ceramic tiling where he gained more knowledge and experience.
In 2019 Jake was given the opportunity to progress his career by joining the Greymoor team as an Assistant Site Manager where he is working towards becoming a site manager. Jake strives to ensure his work is carried out to a high standard and is currently studying to complete his HNC in construction.
PROJECT MANAGER
ANTHONY joins the team with 10 years' experience working in the construction industry. Starting his career based in London for several years, Anthony worked his way up to Site Manager working on high end residential developments in Knightsbridge, Kensington and Mayfair delivering exceptionally high-end properties for highly prestigious clients in the UK and Oversea. Anthony later went on to join Richard Norris at Countrysides flagship Rochester Riverside development for 3 years before joining Greymoor.
Anthony has a naturally inbuilt drive and passion for wanting to deliver the very best standards and quality in every new home he delivers.
SITE MANAGER
GARETH joins the team with 22 years’ experience in the construction industry. Starting his career as a foreman for a ground working company, he worked his way up through the ranks and into site management.
Gareth has delivered various projects for small housebuilders and gained further experience delivering schemes in London consisting of refurbishments, multistorey apartment blocks and traditional build new homes. Working for a national housebuilder, Gareth received two NHBC Pride in the Job awards and continues to drive excellence and quality on his projects.
Gareth brings a wealth of experience to Greymoor and has an inbuilt drive to handover high quality new homes to our Purchasers and Clients.
MAINTENANCE
BADIS started his career in the construction industry training as a painter and decorator, the trade he then followed for over 12 years.
He then became involved in a wider field of multi-disciplined trade works, gaining experience in both the commercial and residential sectors. Undertaking and completing joinery works, fitout installations and finishes on refurbishment and new build projects, which encompassed works from shop fitting to high end luxury residential properties, taking them through to a high quality standard of completion.
With his depth of knowledge, eye for detail and quality he is able, as our dedicated Customer Services Technician to resolve most issues and concerns our customers may encounter.
